This page is just to provide links for a picture dump.

All the links will take you to thumbnails of the pics.

The majority of my good pics are all on slides...sorry I can't share them at this time.

All photos were taken using a Yashica T4 Super, Canon EOS55QD (ElanIIEQD) and EOS 5QD (A2E) with 17-35 f/2.8L, 50 f/1.4, and 70-200 f/2.8L

Here are the Japan links:

A bunch of older pics from first few months I was there.

Nakai is where I lived in Tokyo. This is the surrounding area and apartment I lived in before it belonged to me.  Trust me...I cleaned up up as good as could be done from what you see.

Shinjuku. There are so many pics here that you'd get a pretty good idea what it would be like to spend a Sunday Afternoon walking around the area.

Line 12 Subway which was a convenient, but more expensive way to get to Shinjuku Station compared to the Seibu-Shinjuku rail line you see in the Nakai pics.

Here are the Indonesia links:

Ubud was a really nice place to just chill out and go on tours of Bali.  The Frog Pond Inn you see some pics off was the equivalent of $3/night to stay including breakfast.  The Wisada Inn which is the hotel in B&W was literally less then $2/night.

Komodo Island was always a very exotic place to me.  I had seen shows about the Komodo Dragon on the Discovery Channel here in New York and it was a a place I always wanted to see in person.  You will be disappointed to learn I have no good pics of the animal itself on print film.  I do have a dozen or so excellent slides of them though.  Hey...how much are you paying to see these?  So, don't complain.  :)

Rinca Island is just a short boat ride from Komodo.  It was a pleasant surprise.  There is a pink beach there...again all the really good stuff is on slide film.  Sorry.  You may wonder why I put a very bland picture of Rinca in my Favs page.  I put it there because as I stepped out into that sand with the sun beating down it was about 3:00PM during the hottest time of the year.  According to a documentary I just saw it can reach 114F on Komodo/Rinca in mid November.  They aren't kidding!

Black & White pics from tours on Bali (it was raining a bit...no color), Wisada Inn (forgot I had B&W in that camera body), and Komodo Island for a change of pace.

While I am making a links page I may as well slap on the links to The Philippines and Vietnam

I keep saying I'll smooth out all the website stuff...add good links, thumbnail the above two sites, etc...but I just don't feel like it.  :)  The above two pages have some text to go with the pics, but no thumbnails.  So, be patient.  You can skip to Boracay Island to get to some good scenic pictures.

If you'd like to shoot me an e-mail regarding anything on my sites, including purchase of any of the pics you see enlarged to 6x8, 8x10 or larger e-mail me...
